FREE EVENT: Thursday 20th October 2016, 2:00 - 4:00pm, Leeds Jewish Welfare Board
Following on from this year's Mindful Employer Conference: Practical Advice on Supporting Employee Wellbeing (June) we invite employers to hear examples of good practice, gain ideas on how they can support employee wellbeing further in the workplace and network with 50 employers from a variety of sectors.
We have an exciting programme of speakers and activities in place for our network attendees during this FREE Leeds Business Week Session.
Event host and Mindful Employer Charter Signatory, Leeds Jewish Welfare Board will be sharing their journey of good practice. LJWB's Head of HR will be talking through the different wellbeing strategies they have adopted in the workplace and how they engage with staff. Leeds Jewish Welfare Board also works closely with Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), who will be sharing case studies and the importance of training.
Other programme items include; an update from Mindful Employer Leeds, Top Tips on Wellbeing Policies from Irwin Mitchell and also news of a new mental health resource, Mindwell. We're also very excited to have the brilliant TeamActiv providing a wellbeing themed networking activity for this event.
The networking event is set to finish at 4:00pm however attendees are welcome to continue their conversations and network in the cafe space after the event closes.
Leeds Jewish Welfare Board is a fully accessible venue.
Important Information: It is highly important that delegates do not bring any external food or drink to the premises, they will not be permitted. However, please note refreshments will be provided throughout the networking event plus a kosher cafe serving a variety of hot and cold food and beverages will be open up until 3:30pm on the day. Attendees are very welcome to arrive early if they would like to have lunch in the kosher cafe before the networking event begins.
LJWB is just 15 minutes from Leeds City Centre by car off the main Scott Hall or Meanwood Roads. Alternatively if travelling by bus, the journey will take no more than 25 minutes and a variety of buses such as the 7, 7A, and 36 are available from bus stops along New Briggate, Leeds City Centre. LJWB has a direct line to Premier Taxis and so attendees will be able to book taxis through Reception throughout the day. Limited parking is available in the main car park at LJWB. Street parking is also available in the surrounding area. Please note if you hold a Disable Badge then you are permitted to park on the double yellow lines at the front of the building.
