Description

Join us for a glimpse into the world of the Public Leader course, when we'll be exploring the relationship between public leadership and sharing Jesus.

Phil Knox, head of mission to young adults at the Evangelical Alliance, will lead a conversation around how those in position of public leadership can use their calling to introduce co-workers to Jesus. We'll also hear from Dave Landrum, director of advocacy, and Public Leader course alumni, followed by a Q&A and an opportunity to meet the Public Leadership team.

You'll also get an opportunity to find out more about the Public Leader course, which runs in Scotland, England and Northern Ireland. An annual retreat-based course for Christian leaders in their 20s and 30s, the Public Leader course support and equips those who want to invest in their public leadership. The teaching focuses on four key themes: calling, character, competency and cultural intelligence, with a strong discipleship focus.

A bit more about Phil: He lives to see people come to know Jesus and Christians inspired and equipped to share their faith. He has a passion for his generation, the local church, loves learning and has degrees in law and mission and evangelism. Phil is married to Dani and they have a son called Caleb. He is an avid runner and footballer, a proud Aston Villa supporter and battles a mild coffee addiction.

Applications for the 2019/2020 Public Leadership course will open in early spring. In the meantime, why not read Nelleke's story of being part of the course during 2018.
