Sharing our space with nature - with Tim Liddiard, Natural Environment Department

The Park, a living space for work, play, and life, is kept vibrant by Countryside Rangers who ensure it remains healthy, beautiful, and accessible. With over 100,000 people a year using the countryside footpaths, and 550 hectares of environmentally sensitive land to manage, they navigate the delicate balance between meeting visitor expectations and conserving nature.

Duration: Allow for 2.00 hours. Difficulty: Easy.

Meet at Ouaisné car park, near the sea wall. Bus 12A. Wear sensible footwear as you’ll be walking over uneven surfaces. Please also leave your dog at home.

Tim Liddiard from the Land Resource Management team at the Government tells us the meticulous care and planning required, ensuring the Park remains a haven for both people and nature in an ever-changing world.
