Sharing practice seminar: international teaching and learning
Thursday, 26 November 2015 from 13:00 to 14:00 (GMT)
Join us for the second of CAPD's new series of sharing practice seminars. The aim of these sessions is to share and exchange ideas, advice and tips about learning and teaching. All QMUL colleagues are invited to join us for discussions about a range of topics related to learning and teaching practice, and lunch is provided for those who book in advance. If you have any specific dietary requirements please contact Steph Fuller.
The theme of this sharing practice seminar is international teaching and learning. It will offer colleagues the opportunity to come and share their experiences and ideas around international teaching and learning, focusing on techniques and tools to engage internationally diverse student cohorts. The seminar takes place 1-2pm in the CAPD seminar room, 3.11 Francis Bancroft Building, Mile End campus.
If you are interested in presenting an idea or case study to this or any of the other sharing practice seminars please contact Steph Fuller. You could share an example of something that has worked well in your own teaching, or talk about an issue you would like to get advice and input from colleagues on. For a list of all sharing practice seminars across the year please visit the seminar web page.
The sharing practice seminars are linked to our Educational Research Seminar series, and give colleagues an opportunity to explore the topics of the research seminars in more detail.
