She is Still Sustainable
Event Information
Description
Join other mid-career women working in sustainability for this unique, engaging and uplifting workshop and networking event in London. Hear from Becky Willis, Solitaire Townsend, Sara Parkin and Sophy Banks and from one another. Reflect on your career, life and achievements to date, and plan for the next steps.
Starting after lunch on the 27th of March, we'll hear from leading women about the challenges and joys of being mid-career women working in sustainability: gender, diversity, life choices, resilience and optimism. We'll also engage with each other: Who are we? How did we get here? What have we achieved? Where to go next? Why do we do this work? How do we maintain our resilience and optimism when faced with difficult realities?
Part conference, part workshop, part networking event, by the time we have a final lunch together on day two we will know each other and ourselves better, we will have thought through the next stage in careers and lives, and we will have a new network of like-minded and engaged women to draw upon.
