Join small business community Enterprise Nation for an afternoon of business advice, inspiration and networking, as part of the She Means Business campaign with Facebook.
Bring your questions and business cards and come away hearing other start-up stories, advice on how to grow and monetise your social media presence and make valuable contacts with like-minded people.
This event is part of the She Means Business campaign, an initiative to up-skill 10,000 women in business. Enterprise Nation and Facebook are running a series of nationwide events to inspire creativity, empower confidence and educate on how to best utilise Facebook and Instagram to grow your business.

Nina is an accredited Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, Post Graduate qualified in Management Studies, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a NLP Master Practitioner, Nina has a wealth of management expertise spanning 25 years covering multiple sectors/disciplines, operational management and strategic leadership. She has set up and successfully run her own management consultancy over several years before her current role leading Inward Investment and Enterprise for Plymouth City Council.

Alexis Bowater is an award-winning journalist and presenter who has worked in the media for nearly twenty years. Alexis anchored the ITV evening news in the west country for seven years before becoming campaigning Chief Executive of national charity Network for Surviving Stalking. With considerable working experience on both sides of the camera Alexis has an exclusive insight into how to successfully communicate your message in a clear, concise and meaningful way.
Eleanor Browne: Stronger together – peer support and collaboration as part of your entrepreneurial journey
Eleanor leads Plymouth’s award-winning business incubator, Formation Zone, at Plymouth University. With a background in creative industries development, and over 15 years’ experience in supporting start-ups, she is also a PhD researcher in business incubation and social enterprise.
