About this Event
Women make up a small percentage of the surgical workforce in Egypt.
This symposium aims to explore the contribution and importance of women in the surgical workforce in Egypt. Chaired by Miss Sue Hill, Senior Vice President of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS), attendees will hear from pioneering women who have forged successful careers in surgery in Egypt.
- What lessons can we learn from their endeavours and experiences?
- What are the challenges facing young women who are pursuing (or wish to pursue) a career in surgery?
- How can the RCS support its female members in Egypt and more broadly, 'Women in Surgery' in Egypt?
