Shedding Light on Lockdown
During previous lockdowns, the UK has seen a large decline in mental health. Just in Wave 8, November 2020, 45% of the UK felt anxious and around 25% felt lonely. The mental health services are now in high demand for care, as well as the NHS.
This event aims to shed a little light on this current lockdown and help improve overall mental health and well-being. A small group of Holistic Therapy Practitioners have teamed up to create a platform where they can share their services, for free, in order to help you manage your mental health!
During this event, you will see numerous practitioners from different fields of work, talking about what they do, and holding an interactive session where you can learn to use these tools for yourself.
This event is for anyone who feels anxious, nervous, wants to manage their mental health or just do something new that will benefit your mental health.
This is a time that we all need to pull together in order to help one another. We need to show up for ourselves and our own mental health, now more than ever. At the end of this event, you will have physical and mental tools to use while you're in lockdown, and an email with all of the practitioners details for any further help you may want to seek.
These practitioners want to help empower you during these times and share the knowledge from their prospective fields. Give some time back to you and learn new ways to help yourself.
