This wetlab will concentrate on techniques designed to prevent patient prosthesis mismatch after SAVR - the Yang Y incision Aortic Root Enlargement and Freestyle (Porcine root) Aortic Root Replacement.
The course is aimed at Consultant Cardiac Surgeons and Senior Trainees (ST6 or higher and Fellows)
It has been awarded 5 CPD hours by RCSEd
Consultant Applicants will be charged a fee of £110, £100 of which will be reimbursed after attendance at the course. The course is free for Trainees.
