The Belt & Road Initiative (BRI) is regarded as one of the most important geopolitical and economic initiatives from China. BRI focuses on Improving and creating new trading routes, links business opportunities with China while passing through over 60 countries along the way across Asia & EMEA. The Silk Road Economic Belt and The 21st Century Maritime Silk Road are right at the crust of the initiative.

Invest Sheffield is delighted to have invited Mr. Jin Xu, Minister Counsellor (Economic& Commercial) from the Embassy of The People's Republic of China in the United Kingdom to give us an official overview of the Belt & Road Initative, Mr. Paul Grover, Associate Direct from Arup to talk about how BRI impacts on the Northern Powerhouse.
