Event description
Business Sheffield and Sheffield City Council would like to invite you to our first Sheffield Food Producers Meet The Buyer event.

About this event

Are you a food business looking for food and drink suppliers with a local focus? Or a farmer, grower or producer of food or drinks, registered as a food business in Sheffield?

If so, don't miss Business Sheffield's Meet the Buyer Event!

Led by place maker and food consultant Esther Morrison, the event is an opportunity for buyers from across the North to tap into the wide range and high quality of food and drink produced inside the Sheffield City Region.

When? TBC: Spring/Summer 2022

Where? TBC

We’d originally planned to hold this event on 24 and 25 January. However, considering the current high level of COVID-19 infections and the particularly challenging period that many businesses are going through, we feel that this wouldn’t be the right thing to do.

We’re looking for another date to hold the event later in the year. Meanwhile, we want to use the time to get to know our buyers and suppliers even better. So if you’re interested in the event, please do still sign up (if you’re a buyer) or apply (if you’re a supplier). We’ll be able to talk through our plans and your needs, and keep you updated on the rearranged event.

This event is an opportunity for buyers from supermarket chains, retail franchises, independent high street food and drink retailers, cultural venues, farm shops, delicatessens, cafes, bars, micropubs and taprooms and of course restaurants, to tap into the range and quality of food and drink produced inside the Sheffield City Region.

On each day, you will have the opportunity to meet 34 of Sheffield’s finest F&B businesses, including farmers, growers, distillers, brewers and drinks makers, coffee roasters and producers.

Each business will help give your business competitive advantage by showcasing your commitment to local sourcing, reduced food miles and sustainability.

Ticketed sessions are 2 hours each.
