Event description

Description

September sees the second Sheffield PHP since our relaunch and we are happy to announce that we have Rob Deniszczyc joining as our latest speaker to take us through an Introduction to Laravel and the Laravel Ecosystem.

The event is free, open to all and will be held, once again, at Couch on Campo Lane.

An Introduction to Laravel and the Laravel Ecosystem by Rob Deniszczyc (http://builtbyrobert.com/)

Rob spends his days as a frontend developer at Plusnet in Sheffield city centre, and loves to tinker with PHP and Laravel by night. Rob’s talk is going to be split into two halves. For the first half he is planning on running through the basics of Laravel and his thoughts on the Laravel Ecosystem. Then, after a short break, Rob will live build a quick todo app to demonstrate how easily developers can get their ideas off of the ground.

After the event you’re welcome to stay in the venue for a couple more drinks and a mingle with fellow attendees.

Our event is free to all but we ask that you sign up online so we have an idea of numbers for the venue. We love to hear your feedback and suggestions for future events either on Twitter or through the #SheffieldPHP channel on the Sheffield Digital Slack account.
