Event description

Description

This FREE event is hosted by Sheffield Sports & Exercise Medicine Society. Attendees will be educated and inspired about providing physical activity advice to patients, and learn why this is so important.

2 CPD points accredited by the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine

We have a very exciting list of speakers outlined below. We are also very excited to have stalls set up at the event from local organisations that provide physical activity services. This is aimed to help educate health care practitioners on what local services patients can be referred to.

We are thrilled to have the British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine support this event. This is in addition to support from Move More and the National Centre of Sports and Exercise Medicine. Definitely not an event to be missed!

Who should attend?

This event is aimed at all health care practitioners (doctors, physios, nurses etc), undergraduates on heathcare related and anyone interested in promoting physical activity. Certificates of attendance will be provided.
