Most importantly, tea and coffee! Come and socialise with other parents whilst getting quick help with carrying safely and confidently.Please note, we are unable to teach more advanced skills such as back carrying in these sessions, you can of course book in a one-to-one to learn this via our website www.sheffieldslingsurgery.co.ukLet us know if you want to try any particular carriers so we can bring them with us.

Is there parking?

Yes! The pub has some spaces in their onsite car-park, and additional on street parking outside

How do I get there by public transport?

The pub is a short walk from the Hackenthorpe stop on the blue tram route, or very close to the 120 bus stops.

Is it really child friendly to meet in a pub?

This is a traditional, family run community pub. The bar isn't open in the morning, but we use the function room and free tea and coffee is generously provided. We have a selection of toys available to keep little ones entertained, and ample space to try on carriers.

Can I hire from this event?

Yes, of course but please note we only bring a small selection of the available carriers each week, so if there is something specific you wish to try please get in touch to request we bring it along.
