Thu 20 October 2016, 11:00 – 13:00 BST
A practical two hour workshop to help you write your first business plan, plus the option to add on two exclusive one hour follow up sessions with the Advisor.
Morgan Killick is a successful entrepreneur and start-up Advisor, having previously grown one of the largest social enterprises of it's type in the UK, currently employed as consultant business advisor for Creative Sheffield (Sheffield City Council) and Sheffield Hallam University; https://uk.linkedin.com/in/morgan-killick-a5921930
In the group workshop, we cover why Business Plans are extremely useful to have and are considered a necessity for a successful Startup. We then look at the audience, tone, structure and content of a Business Plan in detail, and will answer all of your questions on what should and shouldn’t go into it. Finally, we move on to writing the first sections of your Business Plan ‘live’ during the session, using a highly successful template, and with expert advice on hand.
By the end of the session you will have started your new Business Plan and will be able to take away the template to continue working on it.
Your tutor will also provide two hours (two x one hour sessions) of additional personal, tailored support and advice to help you develop the plan, at mutually convenient times. This follow-on support will be delivered at the same location as the main workshop.
Pre-start or early stage businesses of any size/type, and who do not have a Business Plan or who have only just begun writing one.
