About this event

Thank you for your interest in participating in Shenanigans On The Clocktower. By attending, you agree to follow these guidelines. This event is designed for creative players to experiment without restriction, with the consent, respect, and understanding of all players. Games may pause, restart, have rules changed throughout, the environment may change, and the rules of the game may be broken. This is a day of active experimentation.

As always, our code of conduct is in place. Please arrive early enough to check in, collect a name badge, order food and drinks, and settle in. We aim to fit in as many games as possible and to give everyone the opportunity to experience different roles, scripts, and gameplay. It is up to the storyteller to decide whether latecomers can be added as travellers (a role designed for players who may join or leave the game at any time), but this is not guaranteed and may vary from game to game. If you have any questions, requirements, or concerns, please contact us, and we will do our best to assist.

    Housekeeping Rules:

We strive to create a comfortable and safe space so we have some guidelines and rules for all attendees.

    Safe-Space:

there will be zero tolerance to anti-social behaviour, discrimnation towards anyone or any group of people, including, but not limited to, any race, disabililty, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or income level.

Any behaviour that disrupts the game and enjoyment of others will not be tolerated.

You will be asked to leave the game, and the venue staff will also be informed.

You will be asked to wear a namebadge, if you are comfortable doing so, please share your pronouns on this too and please take a moment to read other players namebadges and respect each others pronouns.

    Food and Drink:

There will be breaks between games, and we ask you to be please wait until then to order food and drink, however we understand that this is not always possible, so if you need to order food and drink during the game, please do so during the 'day' phases and take a player with you, to continue gameplay conversations. Please also inform the storyteller, who can provide you with timings and help cause the least interruption and delay to the game and fellow players. please sacrfice your own time, not your fellow players.

    Mobile Phones:

We try and create an appropriate atmosphere for the game, and we ask you to help us with that,so please where possible, keep your phone on silent or vibrate.

If you have any questions or concerns please reach out and we'll do our best to help.
