About this Event
The programme will enable young women (mentees) to access mentors with experience which will help to provide them with guidance, support, motivation and role models to impact their lives positively.

- Joanna Abeyie MBE (Chief executive Officer, Blue Moon)
The go - getting 33 - year - old has blazed a trail as a multi- award winning social impact entrepreneur, champion of diversity, inclusion, and equality as well as making a mark as an award - winning journalist and broadcaster.
Joanna has spent the last 14 years, increasing the employment of diverse talent through inclusive hiring practices and creating inclusive working cultures. Launching her first charity Elevation Networks Charitable Trust at 18 alongside six colleagues in 2006, following this 2008 Joanna went on to start her own Social Enterprise Shine Media in 2008, saw she placed over 3000 people from diverse backgrounds into work within the creative industries.
Joanna’s latest enterprise is founding Blue Moon, a flagship inclusive Executive Search Business and Diversity and Inclusion Consultancy Practice. Before BM, Joanna founded Hyden, part of FTSE 250 Global Recruiter SThree, an executive search and consultancy.

- Aisha Adedeji ( Digital Engagement Manager, Barclays)
Aisha has been working at Barclays Bank since September 2017 within Business Banking. She started as a Small Business Manager and was promoted to a Business Relationship Manager in 2018 and later to a Digital Engagement Manager in 2020. She is a real advocate for Diversity and inclusion and has run several internal and external events at Head Office, Eagle Labs and within branches at Barclays.
Prior to Barclays, Aisha worked in a variety of countries including Nigeria, South Africa, Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia (all within Investment and business banking).
Prior to “banking” Aisha played semi-professional basketball but stopped due to an injury but still coaches children on how to play the game
Aisha is quite creative and outside of Barclays she produces a radio show, runs a podcast, tutors mathematics and she also hand models. She also loves stock picking/trading and cryptocurrency trading. She runs all the social media, digital engagement for her podcast and radio show.
Aisha's session will take place on February 24th 2021 at 6.30PM.
Jewelz Ebags, (Founder, Fuller Bust Wardrobe)
Jewelz is the founder of up-and-coming ecommerce business, Fuller Bust Wardrobe (FBW). FBW is a one stop shop for all things fuller bust and was born out of her own personal experience of negative shopping for women with big busts. She hopes to empower women by bringing them choices, comfort and confidence. She is at the early stages on her start up journey and will be sharing her lessons learned so far.
