Sherwood Ladies is an informal business & social evening with women business owners and employed professionals, who meet bi-monthly at Clumber Park Hotel & Spa to mix business and pleasure.
The aim is to focus on people and getting to know each other on a personal level. Since people buy from people, this is an opportunity to establish common interests and trust. Ladies are encouraged to support and inspire each other through collaboration and the sharing of business contacts and opportunities in a non-competitive environment.
Evening meetings are held in a private lounge which provides a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Following brief introductions, and a presentation by a guest speaker, a delicious two-course dinner is served in an exclusive area of the hotel. Plenty of opportunities to stay on afterwards to continue connections and socialising.
If you would like a relaxing way to meet more friends in business, and benefit from an inspirational speaker who will provide knowledge to support your own business growth and/or personal development, come along to discover something different in networking.
Ladies are welcome to bring along business cards/flyers etc. to display on our 'Connect & Engage' table.

6.30 p.m. Guest Speaker: Pam Goodison - Pam Goodison Glass
On the evening:
Pam has been working with stained glass for over 15 years. She started by attending a 'workshop' at a local college and Sheffield and caught 'the bug'.
She has also undertaken charity work with Barnsley Hospice as well as raising money for the Royal British Legion, through the sale of her glass poppy brooches.
Recently Pam has started working with the National Trust, which has involved designing and selling a stained glass star which is unique to the Nostell Priory property.
7.30 p.m. Two-course dinner
Dinner Menu:
Rosemary Scented Roasted Chicken Breast, Herb Mash Potatoes, Red Onion Wine Jus (gluten free option available)
OR
Vegetarian Option which must be pre-booked in advance:
Roasted Cauliflower Steak, Vegan cheese, Gnocchi in Tomato Sauce
(Steamed Seasonal Vegetables will be served on Table)
Dessert:
Vanilla Panacota, Shortbread, Berries (gluten free option available)
N.B. Vegetarian/gluten free options and ANY dietary requirements MUST BE NOTIFIED AT LEAST 7 days prior to the event (PLEASE MESSAGE SUE BURTON)
Drinks are available to purchase at the bar

Please note: meetings are held in a private lounge on the first floor of the hotel (access via a staircase) and dinner will be served in a private dining room.
Photographs may be taken during the event. The images will be used to share news about the group and to promote future events via social media. If you would prefer not to be photographed, please speak to the event organiser when you attend on the day of the event.
