SPEAKERS
Simonne Gnessen, Money Coach, Author and Founder of Wise Monkey Financial
Simonne Gnessen has pioneered financial coaching in the UK for the past 17 years. Building on her 10 years experience as an independent financial adviser, she designed a unique money-guidance service in 2002, Wise Monkey Financial Coaching, to help clients on a practical level, whilst also navigating and transforming their emotional relationship with money. Simonne’s money coaching service uses a unique blend of skills, knowledge and experience gained from working as an adviser, combined with life coaching training. She’s also a Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and a Registered Life Planner® and trains others to develop their own financial coaching practice.
Simonne is co-author of Sheconomics - a finance book for women which helps women master their money and understand the complex feelings that can stand in their way. Her work has been featured on BBC radio and TV and a wide variety of national newspapers and magazines.
Lisa Conway-Hughes, Financial Advisor, Author and Blogger
Lisa Conway-Hughes is a qualified Financial Advisor with fifteen years' experience and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. She also blogs and speaks publicly on financial issues. To date, she has appeared in the Guardian, Financial Times, Telegraph, Independent, Glamour and Citywire as well as on BBC News, discussing subjects such as The Budget. She gives regular corporate talks and has recently started a podcast called 'She's On The Money' with Molly Benjamin Founder of She's on the Money.
Naomi Greatorex, Managing Director, Heath Protection Solutions Limited
Following a successful, multi award winning, career spanning over a decade, working at a senior level for some of the largest UK insurers, Naomi now works in the Insurance division at LDNfinance . Naomi has a keen attention to detail, supporting clients by offering them well researched options, based on a thorough understanding of their current situation. A member of the Women In Protection Industry group, Naomi has a consultative approach to her clients, looking to create long-lasting relationships through face-to-face interactions
Rebecca Tunstall, Rathbones
Rebecca is an investment manager working with a team managing private client portfolios, self-invested pensions schemes and charities at Rathbone Brothers She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Rebecca started her career in 2004 at Whiteford Limited, before moving to Holden & Partners, a Wealth Management firm with an Ethical bias. She loves to empower and educate women around investing and we think she is just brilliant!
Michelle Pearce-Burke, Wealthify
Michelle is the co-founder and chief investment officer of Wealthify, a digital investment platform designed to break down the barriers that potentially stop millions of people from investing.
Michelle began her career as a traditional stockbroker for a boutique firm in Guernsey but realised early on that the opportunity that investing provides should be available to everyone - not just the wealthy. She decided that things needed to change, and she wanted to be a part of the solution, co-founding Wealthify with the mission of making investing simple, affordable and accessible to all.
