Description
SheSays: You OK, hun?
a Brighton Digital Festival event
Thursday 17 October 2019 from 6pm
at Platf9rm Hove Town Hall, ground floor BN3 3BQ
Welcome to a massive SheSays evening of talks and networking with four fantastic speakers for this year's Brighton Digital Festival.
We can't wait to welcome first time SheSays speaker Bex Carson, Chief Product Officer at global Brighton based success story Brandwatch. Her candid and open approach led to the theme of this event. Bex is a mentor for the Girls' Network and sits on executive leadership team at Brandwatch. @bexcarson_
We're honoured to hear from Deborah Obaseki, founder of The Women's Association, a social enterprise to help women be whoever they want to be. She's engaged with 3000 women and with companies such as Google, PwC, BT and Virgin. Deborah is also a director of '56 Black Men', a campaign challenging the negative stereotypes imposed on black men. @MissDeb_B
We're delighted to hear from Jo Crease, Chief Executive Officer of Together Co, an award-winning loneliness and isolation charity that creates connections that change lives. Jo leads a team of expert, committed, caring team of 25 staff and over 400 volunteers at Together Co, passionate about tackling the often invisible issues of loneliness and isolation. @Jo_Crease
We're joined by creative mentor and meditation teacher, Rifa Thorpe-Tracey who also organises and hosts SheSays Brighton. She'll be talking about how meditation can help with your everyday work and help you enjoy life more. @refigure
