𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀
1. Choose a book you've read, enjoyed and are ready to pass on;
2. Wrap it up (keep it simple or go fancy, it's up to you)
3. Come along and tell us about the book, what you enjoyed about it and why we might enjoy it. Most of us find it handy to write a few notes down to bring with the book, a few enticing tidbit about it's content or things like "you'll enjoy this if you like xxx" or "this will make you laugh out loud". ..Just remember not to share the author or title - it is a secret after all!)
On the night we'll each introduce our book to the group and at the end we'll get a chance to each pick a book before we all unwrap them together and discover our new book!
𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲...We'll also enjoy some book related parlor games, take in a banned book reading and be joined by a local guest author who will talk to us about their journey as an author and share a reading from one of their books.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼
We are lucky enough to be hosted at The Village Bistro, a social enterprise bistro in Davidson's Mains. On the night, if you wish, you can BOYB and the kitchen will be open to order small hot plates from their menu.
