Are you curious about the art of Shibari? Join us for beginners Shibari workshop specifically designed for partner tying. Whether you are a complete novice or have some experience, this in-person four-week series of workshops is the perfect opportunity to learn and explore.
You will be guided by skilled practitioners and performers – Fleur de Liz and her rigger George. Shibari is a Japanese art form of rope binding. Over the weeks, you will learn various techniques and ties that can be used for self-exploration and partner tying.
We will cover the following:
Week 1: Rope Bondage 101 – Rope handling, safety, and core techniques.
Week 2: Leg bondage – An introduction to longer, more detailed and involved ties.
Week 3: Decorative Shibari – How to craft beautiful and fun harnesses.
Week 4: Traditional ties – An introduction to restriction ties, focusing on the upper body.
Located at Pivot Pole , please come with the readiness to both tie & be tied... Don't worry if you don't have any ropes; we have you covered...
