Come and immerse yourself in the art of Shibori style dyeing and create a beautiful ready to wear resist dyed silk scarf. Charlene will show you different pleats and folds to make your own design and will also demonstrate how to use threads to create beautiful unique patterns. You will leave the workshop with your very own indigo dyed silk scarf – on trend and ready for Autumn.
Shibori is a Japanese manual resist dye technique, which produces patterns on fabric. There are an infinite number of ways one can bind, stitch, fold, twist, or compress fabric for shibori, and each way results in very different patterns.
