Join City Women, in person or online, for this lunchtime session led by Lucy Jennings, exploring perspective.
About this event
For this hybrid lunchtime session together we will be exploring perspective. How does God see me? How does God see my work – and how do I see it? How does this fit in with other aspects of life? Lucy Jennings will be sharing her personal experience of stepping into the world of work and ‘adult’ life – remaining curious and contemplating. She will touch on working through challenges, including what the pandemic has brought; learning to regulate and nourish mental, emotional and spiritual health (work in progress!); and being curious about what God is stirring.
Lucy moved to Birmingham just over 10 years ago for university and is somehow still here! Currently working in healthcare management, she loves seeing fantastic care given, and care improved, for patients and families. She enjoys connecting with people and across organisations and is drawn to living on the boundaries. Lucy’s spare time often consists of adventuring in the outdoors, listening to music, contemplating life and spending time with friends.
- We are planning the event as “hybrid”, with the option to participate either in person or on Zoom. Do join us in person at Victoria Square House , hanks to the generosity of Browne Jacobson , if you are working in the city centre on a Wednesday or can arrange to be with us. Otherwise, join us on Zoom - and Zoom participants will be sent a link a day or two before the session.
- This event will be accessible to Christians of all denominations and to women of all faiths and none.
- There will be no charge for the event. However, ChaplaincyPlus relies on donations to deliver our vision to help people encounter the depth dimension of faith and life, so we are giving those who chose to do so the opportunity to support ChaplaincyPlus with a donation, when booking a place for this event, to enable our work to remain open to all.
