About this event

Voluntarily Stopping Eating and Drinking (VSED) is a legal end-of-life choice in the UK for adults with mental capacity who decide to hasten death by refusing food and fluids.

This free community event is an opportunity to:

  • Learn what VSED is (and what it isn’t)
  • Understand the legal and ethical context in the UK
  • Hear personal stories and experiences
  • Ask questions in a safe, supportive environment

We aim to share clear, objective information and open up space for conversation. We do not promote or provide medical advice.
