Join artist Nicola Marray-Woods to create an array of bugs and mini beasts from recycled materials. These creatures will be decorated with reflective material to literally glow in the dark. They will be fixed to woven willow webs and installed in trees on Marriott’s Way to light up wintery walks and bike rides. As an optional extra you can bring your bike to decorate the spokes with reflective stickers, or customise a reflective wristband, to make you super sparkly in the dark. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who will be expected to participate in the event! Everyone will walk along nearby Marriott’s Way to the trees that are to be decorated and help to fix the bugs into their new home. Bring a torch for the walk back. It will be getting dark and we can test out our reflective creations.
Any other information: All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Toilets available at start and finish of walk.
