About Your Instructors:

Saori Okada is a Japanese calligraphy artist, registered UK health coach, and founder of Mogami Wellness (https://www.mogamiwellness.com/). Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan and currently based in London, she brings over 25 years of Japanese calligraphy (Shodō) practice, working under her calligraphy name Seisen (星洗). Saori combines the meditative art of Japanese calligraphy with her holistic approach to wellbeing, creating experiences that are both culturally rooted and deeply reflective. Her workshops offer a gentle space to reconnect with presence, purpose, and inner calm — blending ancient Japanese wisdom with a mindful, modern lens.

Nicha is a matcha connoisseur and co-founder of Haru Matcha (https://www.harumatcha.co.uk). Having grown up in Thailand and spent time in Japan from the age of nine, she was inspired by the Japanese way of life. When she moved to the UK, she couldn’t find matcha with the same quality she had back home and in Japan. This has inspired her to found Haru Matcha alongside her partner Francis in 2023. Her mission is not only to work closely with the Japanese farmers, sourcing and presenting their dedication, but also to showcase different varieties of authentic matcha. She wants to promote appreciation for high-quality natural matcha without the need for a lot of extra flavours or sweeteners.
