Short Films Night

By StoneCrabs Theatre Company

Overview

A celebration of LGBTQ+ heritage on the Isle of Wight, including an exclusive screening of our Faces + Places short films

Join us this February, LGBT+ History Month, for a celebration of LGBTQ+ heritage on the Isle of Wight.

StoneCrabs Theatre, and its Out on an Island project, is hosting a special evening bringing together short films, artist stories, and live conversation. Together, we'll reflect on the local history, people, ideas, and moments that have shaped our island.

The evening will launch Stories Underfoot 2026 and include an exclusive screening of the Faces + Places short films, featuring Wilde in Ryde by Jason Watts, Woolf in Freshwater by Cody Pevreall, Mew in Newport by Katie Daysh, and Ferguson's Gang in Newtown by Anmarie Bowler.

The works have been captured on film by Sam Lapham and include powerful performances by Si Lynch, Emily Scotcher, Hillard Morley, and Krysia Mansfield, directed by Rebecca Tremain.

Places are limited. Early booking recommended.
