About this Event
This is a series of 4 after school canal walks each Thursday 16:00 – 17:00 starting 11th September with the last session on 2nd October. The walks are suitable for buggies & wheelchair users. We will learn about safety at the waterside, what nature we can see and connect with & hear more about the waterways, and how we can all enjoy them. Please note all children & young adults must have at least one carer who will be present throughout & responsible during the session. Do wear appropriate shoes & clothing for the weather as rain won’t stop us!!
Each participant will receive nature lovers equipment to take home with them

Please book one time slot per person. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked slot. These sessions are designed for adults and for children from seven years old upwards as an introduction to walking and are easy grade along our amazing towpaths. Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways .
Parents and Guardians are required to accompany their children on this walk.
Walk ins will not be accepted. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite or please get in touch with us to allow another person(s) a chance to take part. Social distancing measures will be in place and all equipment will be cleaned in between sessions.
