Hosted by the APPG on Responsible Tax, this seminar will address the question ‘Should we call time on corporation tax?’. Recent weeks have seen heightened public debate about the tax affairs of multinational companies and the difficulties regarding the current corporation tax regime in a global system. This event will examine the debate and question whether the current system is fit for purpose.

The new All-Party Parliamentary group on Responsible Tax was established in September 2015. It is chaired by Rt Hon Dame Margaret Hodge MP and co-chaired by Rt Hon David Davis MP, Richard Bacon MP and Lord John McFall. Stewart Jackson MP is the secretary, Lord Stewart Wood is Treasurer elect, and the group has twenty-seven Parliamentary members.
