Shout All About It! - Marketing and PR Workshop for Food and Drink Producers

This fully funded event is for food and drink manufacturers based in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire and South East Midlands (determined by post code), who are interested in developing skills and ideas for further promoting their business and the products they produce ensuring they receive increased recognition and to maximise their exposure and increase sales.

The day will be made up of key note sessions, workshops, interactive demonstrations and a tasting opportunity, set in the fabulous and inspiring setting of the School of Artisan Food and accompanied as always with an amazing lunch.

This is a full day of activity which will leave you with a range of skills to help you move your business forward and the ability to shout all about the amazing things you do and produce.

Workshop choices available on the day (choice of 1): 

Workshop (choice of 1)        

  1. Marketing Collateral – How to make marketing materials work for you.
  2. Media Training - Small business and start ups often feel PR and press coverage is out of their reach are at a loss as to how to go about getting press coverage. Learn how to write a killer press release, tips on how to prep, control and conduct interviews. Veena Josh is an award winning broadcast journalist, working for BBC radio and TV as a news and current affairs producer and director for 20 years. She gave up a full time job at the BBC to run Curry on Cooking with her sister selling prepacked curry kits and running cookery retreats in Spain and the UK.
  3. Digital Marketing - How to use Instagram stories to successfully promote your business

Lunch will be provided on the day by the School of Artisan Food, if you wish to provide a sample of your products for the buffet table at lunch, please complete the section on the booking form. This is a great way of showcasing and promoting your products to other producers.

Please note..... non-attendance and/or cancellation within 24 hours of the event will be charged at £15.00 per head to cover the cost of refreshments that have been pre-ordered.

Timings: 8.45 am. – 4.00 p.m.

Refreshments: Tea, coffee and lunch will be provided

The conference is fully funded by the ERDF FEAST2 Funds

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this funded course, you must meet the small business eligibility criteria, set out in the booking form.

You must employ less than 250 employees

Be a manufacturer of food or drink products

Have a manufacturing base in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire or South East Midlands
