About this project

This is one of two projects LOTI funded as part of its New Service Models Innovation Fund. The project will seek to promote better independent living by piloting a “Care Commons” approach.

This is a strength-based model underpinned by empowering residents, local community organisations, care workers, care recipients and family carers in Clapton with the skills and knowledge required to recruit care workers and develop care plans. It also allows the building and resourcing of home care teams through asset-based community development.
