Showcasing RAS: Session 4 (TCH)
Tue 21 March 2017, 09:30 – 10:30 GMT
Titchfield RAS are hosting a series of sessions in which different teams around the office deliver a short presentation showcasing the work of their team. These sessions will offer an insight into working in different areas all over the office if you're new to ONS but also if you're not!
The sessions have also been organised to fit in with the timescales of the upcoming managed moves process to be held in Titchfield and are a great opportunity for you to hear about all the different types of work that goes on and help you consider a move either now or in the future.
Session 4 will feature...
Stakeholder Engagement - Oliver Dorman
The work of Population Statistics Division, and in particular the work of the stakeholder engagement team within it.
Social Survey Operations - Jen Farnall
Survey Operations Research are a team of researchers in a mostly operational area and our research projects aim to understand and improve the data collection process for social surveys. At this session you will hear a little about a few projects we've done as well as how we use the wealth of data we hold on all the field and telephone calls that are made to collect household survey data.
Census Question and Questionnnaire design - Rose Lafferty and Jenny Neale
The Questionnaire and Question design team are responsible for making decisions about the topics and wording of the next census. The session will explore the work that goes on to ensure that these decisions are the right ones.
