Showstoppers' Musical Improv Course - Beginners

An 8-week course in the basics of long-form improvisation, coached by leading members of the Olivier Award-winning Showstopper The Improvised Musical, the only long-form improvised show to run in London's West End.
You will learn to create characters, improvise solo and group songs, build and sustain a narrative and play both dramatic and comedic scenes. The course will culminate in a public performance at a central London venue.
This course is specifically aimed at the first-time improviser, so no experience is necessary, only a willingness to try anything! Whether you are an established artist or new to performing, it will give you a new range of skills, enhance your confidence and open up a whole new approach to creativity.
Coaches will include Pippa Evans, Ruth Bratt, Justin Brett, Andrew Pugsley and Duncan Walsh Atkins.
Schedule: every Wedesday from October 19 to December 7, 1830-2130. Final Performance : Sunday December 11.
