Shropshire Rainbow Film Festival - UK Short Film Selection
Event Information
Description
As part of the 2016 Shropshire Rainbow Film Festival, we are screening a programme of our favourite UK short films from those submitted to the festival this year.
The short films include:
CLOSETS - a tormented 16 year old Henry who, on 12 March 1986, time travels through his bedroom closet and meets up with a similar present day teenager, Ben, occupying his same bedroom 30 years later.
HONEYMOON - Lucy and Johanna are on their honeymoon. Johanna is partially, and Lucy profoundly, deaf. They arrive at a B&B where they are greeted by a sullen landlady.
A DELICATE LOVE - Peter, a Maths student, works part-time in a delicatessen. When a handsome and sophisticated older man purchases exquisite delicacies, Peter cannot help but be drawn to him and his fantasy life gets way out of hand.
DAWN – As dawn creeps across London, two lost outcasts meet in the darkness, more afraid of themselves than each other.
QUEEN’s MILE - is a heartwarming story of a young woman’s courage in coping with depression, in her own unique way.
LITTLE ELEPHANT - is a film about love over three generations. Rahila, a gay mum reflects on her severed relationship of 6-years with her dad.
