Keith Barrow, Leader of Shropshire Council and Clive Wright, Operations Director, Shropshire Council invite you to Shropshire’s Annual Business Summit 2013
Shropshire Means Business – Preparing for new funding for growth
Shropshire Businesses* are urged to reserve their place at this year’s event, which takes place on Monday 10 June at the Shrewsbury Town Football Greenhous Stadium from 5.30 p.m.
This years’ event will give you the chance to hear about new funding opportunities and powers being delegated to local enterprise partnerships via the Heseltine Review and European funding and the benefits they will bring for local businesses in Shropshire.
You will learn about what has happened since last year’s Business Summit and discuss the plan to deliver economic growth and prosperity through Shropshire’s Economic Growth Strategy. Business leaders have stepped up to champion delivery of each of the priority areas in the Economic Growth Strategy, and you will hear from them about what has been achieved so far and have the opportunity to work with them to identify ways to make the most of the ‘best’ of Shropshire to improve the conditions to help grow the economy.
