The Human Rights Implications and Remedies
Hosted by Andy Slaughter MP
The Arab Organisation for Human Rights in the UK (AOHR UK) invites you to participate in a seminar about the waves of arrests in Saudi Arabia of prominent human rights defenders and opponents of the government.
It is very difficult to know the numbers of men and women who have been imprisoned as the national authorities have released no reliable statistics, and in many cases have prohibited detainees from having access to lawyers and their families.
What can be done about this situation and to obtain justice for those detained unlawfully? A high profile panel of experts and lawyers will address this subject.
