Description

Shute Festival is a boutique festival with big ideas and names set in the beautiful surrounds of a village in East Devon close to the Jurassic Coast. It has a fantastic line up of events for 2019 with talks by Christina Lamb the Sunday Times war correspondent, Tim Pears on The Redeemed, Angela Gallup the UK's leading forensic scientist, Isabel Bannerman garden designer on her new book; Jaz O'Hara on The Worldwide Tribe working with refugees, Owen Matthews on his new spy book, Nick Jubber on his Epic Continent, David Jones founder of Just One Ocean on plastics, Fiona Benson on her new pootry collection, and poet Anthony Wilson reading from his two new books. It will also host the UK premier of an award winning documentary Free Men about the life of death row artist Kenny Reams who will dial in from his cell after the film.
