More about SIETAR

SIETAR is the world’s leading organisation for those interested in intercultural education, training and research. First founded in the United States in 1974, its goal was to provide a forum for exchanging ideas about training, theory, and research, and to learn from each other as well as to provide a place where interculturalists could strengthen their bonds with each other. Today, there is a global network of regional, national and local societies that focus on enlarging the work of SIETAR within the boundaries of their communities and cultures while linking with each other to ensure an international perspective. SIETAR is a not for profit organisation, run by volunteers. We propose to launch a SIETAR Southeast Asia network as part of the global SIETAR network to bring together people in this region who share an interest in intercultural matters.
