About this event
The world of work is evolving at an unprecedent pace. Business and organisations are navigating the demands of flexible and hybrid working, shifting employee expectations and the rise of purpose-driven careers. In this environment, understanding and elevating the voices of your employees is critical for developing work environments and cultures where employees are highly engaged and thrive, with visible benefits for the bottom line.
In this session you will find out, amongst other things, why it is a good idea to have a listening strategy, how you can use your employee insight to strengthen your culture and grow your business success, how to avoid the feedback action gap.
Speakers note:
Maureen Brown, Founder of Sullivan Brown HR Recruitment and MI-Say Starter and Leaver Interview Specialists.
"I have worked in the HR sector for over 25 years and have always had a passion for employee experience. In 2015, I worked on an exit interview project for a client, and it sparked the idea for MI-Say.
I co-founded MI-Say to bridge the gap between businesses and their people. Initially through exit interviews, then starter interviews, stay interviews, and slowly expanding our service range to cover all elements of listening strategy.
I believe that every voice matters and that employee feedback is a powerful tool for driving meaningful change. I am on a mission to champion listening strategy beyond just employee engagement surveys, exploring the best ways to provide businesses with the insights they need to listen, learn, and act on the real experiences of their teams. By gathering quantitative and qualitative data, combined with our independence and ability to offer a safe environment for employees to share their feedback, MI-Say helps organisations gain a deeper understanding of employee behaviour and sentiments, ultimately leading to more engaged and satisfied teams.
Our purpose is to empower businesses to make informed decisions that foster happier and healthier workplace environments. I am committed to ensuring that employee feedback is not just collected, but truly valued and used as a catalyst for positive transformation. Outside of work I am a mum to two teenagers and a dog! I love eating out, hiking, paddleboarding and travelling in my motorhome. I’m happiest outdoors with people I love."
