Signature BRACE (Dementia Alzheimer's) Sunset Walk

Come & join us for a Charity "Sunset Walk" on "World Alzheimer’s Day" to raise money for BRACE Alzheimer’s Research.

This walk/event is for everyone and anyone who has been affected by this terrible disease in one way or another.

We will be doing a sunset walk around the beautiful grounds of “Clandon Wood” and whilst walking there will be some educational talks based around “ Dementia” from a number of Dementia specialists.

BRACE funds world class clinical and laboratory research into Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia to find better treatments, achieve earlier diagnosis and one day, a cure.

During the walk we will talk about BRACE are our nominated charity..there will be a number of topics such as how to understand Dementia better, signs/ importance of early diagnosis, current/future clinical trials & treatments , how to pay for care and more!

All proceeds for this event will go directly to BRACE....as it states on their website 1 in 3 people born today will develop Dementia in their lifetime....so HELP US to help them find a way to defeat Dementia.

Following the walk there will be some light refreshments to enjoy with the chance to chat further and make some new "Dementia Friendly Friends".
