SIIG - Financial and Legal considerations for foundation social investors:

Legal and accounting professionals from Barrow Cadbury Trust, Guy's & St Thomas' Charity, Buzzacott and Hogan Lovells will cover the key issues foundation social investors need to consider.
This session aims to enable foundations to compare practice, and for those new to social investment to gain a better understanding of the practicalities.
Content will include:
- key issues for foundations to be aware of
- how social investment contracts differ from other contracts foundations may be used to
- how foundations treat social investments in their accounts
- what legal/accounting skills are needed, and how tasks are divided between those in-house and external companies
The Social Impact Investors Group (SIIG) exists to support Foundations interested in starting or currently undertaking social impact investing.
