Organised by Sikh Recovery Network, SHARE Charity UK and the National Sikh Police Association.

Sikh Recovery Network along with SHARE Charity UK and National Sikh Police Association arranged the first Sikhi Workshop in January 2023. It was an overwhelming success. The Sikh Recovery Retreat is the next new initiative as part of the different events that we are organising to help those on the recovery path. The three organisations have come together again to get this retreat off the ground! This is now the 8th retreat!

Yes. You must have given up alcohol fully for at least one week. You must not have consumed drugs for at least a week also. This is to prevent serious side effects and withdrawal symptoms that could potentially be dangerous or even life threatening.

What if I have been drinking too close to the event?

You need to be sober for a week to attend the Retreat for health and safety and for fairness to others attending the retreat. Attendees will be breathalysed and bag searched to ensure that they have not drank or intend to consume. We may do this more than once if there is a suspicion of drinking.
