Sikshak Vandan Divas (Teacher Appreciation Day)
Come join us at Heathryburn School as we celebrate our amazing teachers on Sikshak Vandan Divas! This in-person event is a great opportunity to show our gratitude and appreciation for all the hard work and dedication our teachers put into shaping our future.
In the ethos of Hinduism first mother, father, teacher and then God are honoured. While mother gives us life, teacher gives us a new life, helps us to blossom to our fullest potential. Even to find God we need a Guru, "teacher". So teachers have been held at a very high esteem in Indian culture.
Let's come together to honor and thank our teachers for their unwavering support and commitment to education. Join us for a day filled with fun activities, heartfelt speeches, and memorable moments as we express our gratitude to the incredible educators at Heathryburn School.
The event is free but a small donation of £3 for kids and £5 for adults is much appreciated to help us with the running costs.
