Silent – Community Screening & Open Conversation

Join us for a powerful evening of film, reflection and community action as we screen SILENT, a documentary exploring the hidden struggles, unspoken pain, and unheard voices surrounding youth violence, family impact, and community responsibility.

Hosted by Involve 2 Evolve CIC, this event brings people together for storytelling, open dialogue and real solutions — in the heart of Southbank Centre’s Community Space.

6:00pm – Arrival & Welcome

• Sign-in, refreshments, and informal meet-and-greet
• Opening introduction from Director — why Silent was made and what this movement represents

6:25pm – Screening of SILENT (approx. 25 mins)

• Shown on Southbank Centre’s in-room screen

6:55pm – Short Reflection Break

• Audience moment to breathe, take it in, and prepare for discussion

🎤 PANEL DISCUSSION – “The Stories Behind Silent”

7:05pm – 7:40pm

A focused conversation featuring:
• Director Ignatius Terance Smith (interviewed live)
• Invited community guests (local youth practitioners / parents / campaign reps)
• Open Q&A from the audience

Topics include:
– What inspired the film
– The real experiences behind the stories
– How communities can respond, protect and support families
– The urgency of early intervention and awareness

📝 WHAT WILL YOU DO? Workshop

A signature reflective activity where attendees write a personal pledge on a Commitment Card, adding it to our Wall of Action, building a collective message of hope and responsibility.
