Silver Clay Workshop
Overview
Hi! We're Molly and Annie, two Crouch End locals and we've been experiementing with silver clay over the last year or so. When we finally bought a jewellry kiln we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to share the skills we've gained and meet likeminded people who live locally.
We're piloting a series of ongoing silver clay workshops on 11 November at 7pm upstairs at the ArtHouse Cinema in Crouch End. Everyone welcome and no prior experience necessary!
Silver clay is an incredible material made from recycled silver particles combined with a natural binder. When fired, it becomes pure silver – giving you professional-quality results without the need for traditional silversmithing skills. Your final products will be able to be hallmarked at any jewellers.
The workshop will run from 7pm - 9.30pm and include a short introduction and the opportunity to sketch or practice modelling your ideas before getting stuck in. We'll fire your pieces after the session and you'll be able to pick them up from the ArtHouse from the next day.
What’s included:
- 1 x 7g pack of silver clay.
- Tools and equipment
- Firing of your finished piece for later collection
Refreshements will also be available from the ArtHouse Bar.
