Escape to the stunning Cornish coast for a luxurious and inspiring knitting retreat in the heart of Falmouth. This all-inclusive retreat is designed to indulge your creativity, pamper your senses, and connect you with fellow knitters in a beautiful, relaxed setting.

Throughout the retreat, you'll have the chance to attend workshops led by Jane, i.e. The Cornish Knitter, explore the local town, and enjoy delicious Cornish cuisine. Take in the stunning coastal views as you work on your latest project, or simply relax with a cup of tea.

Pricing:

Room prices vary, so please check the listing for specific rates. A £20 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.

Once booked, you’ll receive an email within 48 hours with a 50% invoice, which must be settled within one week.

The remaining balance will need to be paid 10 weeks before the event.

Location: We are renting two beautiful houses in Falmouth on Claremont Terrace, which are very close to each other. We will gather in White Wings for workshops, lunches and evening meals.

White Wings Prices:

White Wings will be the main house for this retreat, where all lunches, evening meals, and workshops will be held. This gorgeous house features a hot tub with sensational harbour views.

A spacious, fully enclosed garden, balcony, and patio area with plenty of places to sit and relax. A six-seater hot tub with a sea view. A bistro table with comfortable chairs, plus two sun loungers.

A large seating area with a corner sofa and two padded bench seats, a table that is adjustable for alfresco drinks or dining, and an outdoor countertop with one large and one small gas BBQ grill/oven and a built-in tandoori oven. A chunky gravel pathway leads around the pretty garden and planting below the main property, accessed by stairs.

This property has four bedrooms, two with ensuite facilities, and one shared bathroom.

White Wings Room 1: £1550

6ft super-king bed with ensuite. Silk duvet and pillows, bedside tables, bedside lighting, full-length standing mirror, dressing table, stool, built-in clothes storage, two reading chairs and stunning, floor-to-ceiling harbour views. Hidden 48” smart television rising from a remote control/switch operated oak box at the foot of the bed. Large Ashton & Bentley oval bath, built-in product shelf, separate shower, his and hers wash basins, WC, electric Velux window, vanity mirrors and heated towel rail.

White Wings Room 2: £1500

6ft super-king bed with ensuite bathroom. Silk duvet and pillows, bedside tables, bedside lighting, bespoke built-in wardrobe and 55” smart TV, dressing table and stool, and the same wonderful sea views as the main bedroom. Shower with rainfall and power head, WC, sink and vanity unit, heated towel rail, electric Velux window and vanity mirror.

White Wings Room 3: £1400

5ft king size bed with silk duvet and pillows, bedside tables, wall-mounted ambient lighting, clothes rail, dressing table, stool, 55” smart TV, harbour views and sliding door onto the terrace.

Shared bathroom.

White Wings Room 4: £1300

5ft king size bed with silk duvet and pillows, bedside tables, wall lights, chest of drawers, wardrobe, comfortable chair, 55” smart TV, harbour views and sliding door onto the terrace.

Stay in Bora Gwel

Translated as ‘dawn view’ in Cornish, this charming cottage faces the rise and fall of the sun, as it journeys from dawn to dusk over the changing harbour. Bora Gwel’s location is perched high above the lived-in layers of Falmouth town’s lanes and flaunts magnificent sea views.

Slip off your shoes at the door and be warmly welcomed into a home reflective of Cornwall’s unique charm. With wooden floorboards underfoot, organic tones, and a subtle nod to the sea with nautical decor and marine accents, its peaceful ambience echoes the rippling waters of Bora Gwel’s incredible seascapes.

Bora Gwel Room 1: £1450

King size (5ft) brass bed with bedside tables and chest of drawers, lamps, mirror, chair, and views out to the front garden and towards the harbour. Feature fireplace and adjoining door to the middle bedroom.

Bora Gwel Room 2: £1400

With a double bed, built-in wardrobe, bedside tables, lamps, dressing table, chair, chest of drawers, fireplace and vista over the garden.

Bora Gwel Room 3: £1350

King size (5ft) bed, bedside lamps, chest of drawers, clothes rail and dual aspect dormer windows, the front facing of which has two stools for taking in the far reaching water views. Please note, as this room is up in the roof some of ceiling areas are sloped.

Bora Gwel Room 4: £1250

Two single beds with bedside tables, lamps, single wardrobe, chest of drawers and feature fireplace. Beds can be made up to create a super-king (6ft) bed, upon request. Double doors leading out to the courtyard.
