Silver Sunday Event - The Perks of Pickling

This Silver Sunday event is especially for people aged 50+

Join us for a two and a half hour workshop

During this hands on workshop we will look at the origins of pickling, good pickle ingredients, and the health benefits of eating homemade pickles.

We will provide a pickling liquor and basic ingredients for you to make your own pickle to take home.

Please bring a small clean jar if you have one. We will have some jars avaialble if you are not able to bring one.

Our centre is wheelchair friendly and has toilets on site.

The Ecology Centre is located within Holland Park, adjacent to the Abbotsbury Road carpark W14 8EP.

We are also well served by public transport including tube stations - Holland Park on the Central Line, Kensington High Street on the District and Circle Lines, Shepherds Bush on the Central Line and, Overground station - Shepherds Bush and Kensington Olympia, as well as local buses.
