Silverburn Foraging Weekend - Mushrooms and Woodlands

Silverburn foraging weekend aims to show those in the community about the abundant sustainable food choices that exist all around us!

Join expert foragers Graham and Christine, who have foraged together for 13 years and as Whitehouse Foraging have taught others for 8 years. They have lived only on wild food for a month on two occasions, as part of the Wildbiome Project.

Join them for a 2.5 hour foraging experience where you will see, hear about, and taste some of the wild food that can be found at Silverburn Park. The walk will be on woodland paths through the grounds. At the end of the walk you'll get the chance to taste a few prepared wild foods.
