Simple Tapestry Weaving

In this session we will complete a small tapestry weaving, learning some simple techniques. A selection of different yarns will be available but do bring your own if you some!

About the tutor:

Leonie le maistre is a Crafts teacher at the Steiner School. She teaches yarn weaving and willow basketry to teenagers and is passionate about the therapeutic qualities that doing craft generates. Weaving in particular immediately creates a calm environment and sense of community when doing in a group.

There's an optional donation to go towards the running costs of the classes- this stops people booking up all the free tickets then not showing up!

Eventbrite requires £1 to be entered in the box but we can refund that in cash when you attend the class, or you can put it towards a cup of tea from the kitchen ☕
